BIPC (Business & IP Centre) Cumbria is part of the British Library national network of centres. Our centre is located in Carlisle library, and you can find the opening times on the Cumberland website.
The aim of these centres is to provide advice and support to business owners, entrepreneurs, inventors, and people with a business idea. Our team, with our local partners, are here to help you achieve your business goals!
Our Centre is based at the Carlisle Library, and offers the following FREE services:
- 1:1 support sessions with a Business Information Officer
- Valuable market research databases (Cobra, IBIS World, Kompass, GrantFinder & more)
- Bookable semi-private and private meeting booths
- Hotdesking computer stations
- Prototyping equipment
